Staff joining the Twyford Trust are likely to be motivated by the opportunity of building an outstanding school community within an already highly successful Trust. Indeed the DfE published their multi-academy trust league tables based on summer 2023 results and the Twyford Academies Trust tops the secondary school performance tables for the second year running. Due to the growth of the Trust we are able to offer excellent career progression in addition to the high quality CPD and on-the-job learning which are part of our established systems for staff support and development.
The Twyford Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undergo the child protection screening appropriate to the post, including an enhanced disclosure from the DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) and references from previous employers. For more information about the DBS please see: https://www.gov.uk/disclosure-barring-service-check
Within the Trust we also offer 1 year roles as Teaching Assistants, Peripatetic Music Teachers and Sports Technicians for graduates wishing to explore opportunities before committing to an Initial Teacher Training programme as offered by Teach West London. These roles are offered within Vacancies.
Trust schools are an excellent place to advance your career as a teacher or in a support role. Suitably qualified and experienced staff are warmly invited to apply to join our team. Latest vacancies can be viewed here. Please note that we do not accept CVs or applications from agencies.

Supporting former teachers back into the classroom
Did you know that around 17,000 former teachers return to the classroom each year. To assist teacher returners, free support is available for any qualified former teacher needing help to navigate the process, build confidence and find the right position for them.
Alongside the Return to teaching Advisory service, which provides free one-to-one support for qualified former teachers, including help with writing applications and preparing for interviews, we would like to share this Return to Teaching Stakeholder Toolkit with you. The toolkit provides case studies, logos, and newsletter and digital content you can use to promote the service on your website or through your networks.
Please do help us to promote the service to bring more great teachers back into the classroom. If you have any questions about the toolkit, please contact returnto.teaching@education.gov.uk.
